This is the key pose to master for Forearmstand, or 'Pincha'. Get familiar and comfortable with it, it will open your shoulder & hamstrings. You might be thinking 'Can I be any tighter in that area?' , right? I know I was :D But body finally opened up. Like it always happens, when you allow it, when you listen to it, and give the space and time for growth. Little miracles, as I call them..
.
Let your shoulders open with this beautiful Dolphin pose. Press strongly into the mat, press the earth away from you, and the shoulder blades up, away from the ears. Give your neck a lot of space. Keep the elbows shoulder-width apart. Bend the keens as much as you need to so the lower back is not rounding.
